The Brief

Seminal Summit (formerly SME Day) is an entrepreneurship event built around founder stories, practical insight, and strong community energy. With past speakers including Huw Gott (Hawksmoor), Aimee Smale (Odd Muse), Tendai Moyo (Ruka Hair), Big Zuu, SMADE (Afro Nation) and Ciara London, the summit sits at the intersection of business, culture and real-world experience.

TVOX partnered with Seminal as creative collaborators to help shape the visual identity and campaign output around the event. The brief covered everything from event branding and graphics, to promo materials and communications assets, through to filming the event itself—ensuring the look and message stayed consistent across both the build-up and the content released after.

The Process

We treated the summit as a full brand moment—not a one-day production. That meant developing a clear creative direction that could be applied across touchpoints: social promos, speaker announcements, event comms, and post-event storytelling.

Our workflow focused on speed and consistency. We built a design system that was flexible enough for fast rollout but strong enough to feel intentional, then captured the event with content reuse in mind—delivering assets that could carry the brand forward beyond the day itself.

Visual Identity

We supported Seminal with event-led visual branding that could work across multiple formats and platforms. This included core design rules, graphic treatments, and a recognisable look that helped tie the summit together across digital and physical outputs without overcomplicating the brand.

Graphics & Promo Materials

We produced campaign-ready assets including promotional graphics and event comms materials designed for rollout across social and partner channels. The focus was clean messaging, sharp layout, and a consistent system that could flex for different speaker announcements, themes and timelines.

Content Capture

Alongside the brand and design output, we filmed the summit end-to-end—capturing speaker sessions, crowd moments, and the atmosphere of the day. Coverage was planned to support both recap storytelling and future promotion, with a library of usable footage built for ongoing content.

Execution

TVOX delivered creative support across the full event cycle—visual branding, promotional design assets, communications materials, and complete event filming. The final output gave Seminal a cohesive set of branded content and marketing-ready assets that could be used both for immediate rollout and to support future editions.
